Content is King, but Process is paramount.
One thing that a company cannot do is stay still.
If it is not moving forward, it is at least equipping itself to be better prepared when the time is right to seize the moment.
This is precisely what above average companies do during downturn economies and especially these days amidst covid. To stay diligent, continue improving, and in time – all hard work will pay off.
This is easier said than done. Humans vacillate, and can easily find themselves in a funk, a certain shade of blue, and when the gloomy season lifts, the human shakes off the funk and resumes as they were. This familiar predicament will try to find a foot hold with organization, small and big. But, if complacency is allowed to linger for an extended amount of time, it will surely be its death knell.
The only way to ride these cresting waves of economic lulls is to have Processes in place that don’t let lethargy exist, and as a result even a dry spell is spent learning, growing, and getting ready for floodgates to be opened.
Process process process – it’s paramount.
The process of how to find leads, new business, new relationships, fresh horizons. Process of how to engage and establish rapport. This doesn’t just happen, it is process.
To find a solution, and best determine how this solution can be repeated, in a consistent manner, that leads to ongoing success.
“Process” in how to find prospects is one thing we at Strategic Intelligence does well. But, after that, there is another process, the process of selling. That is another set of processes. Universities will tell you, sales is a science, and science is a series of tested and refined processes that will enable a continued state of successful efforts.
But what about content, you ask?
Is content really king?
It sure is.
Process can find the right person, set the table to dine at, and stage an entire dinner engagement, buyer and seller find the time to come together – but what will they consume? What will they dine on? Where is the main course, the wine pairing? The entire meal, from opening to close, and the feeling of being satisfied…this is the content, the goods, the widget, the actual thing that they buyer wants to gladly purchase. This cannot be mimicked or replicated. Content is king.
Now, if content is king, quality is queen. But, we must wait for another time and place to discuss how important and dare I say severe is quality intrinsic to everything.
Quality in process, quality in content, quality in relationships, and relationships is where we shine.
Call and speak to us in person, and find out first hand.
